Barely a year after working directly with the WAH-NGO, all of Baguio’s 16 health districts are now powered by the wah digital health platform. More importantly, all city health districts are now at Level 2, enabling them to record and track indicators for maternal and child care as well as family planning.
The rapid ascent by the City to become one of the country’s premiere sites on digital health can be attributed to the regular hand-holding, monitoring, and training activities by the #wahteam made possible by support from USAID LuzonHealth. Combined with the hard work of the City Health Office employees led by Dr. Weenie Galpo and her trusted army of Medical Officers, the City has become a consistent top performer in the wah digital health scorecards since the last city-wide monitoring visit in September 2016.
As of November reporting, the City of Baguio is the top performer amongst all wah clusters in the entire country with most of its health districts submitting timely, complete, and quality health reports.
