Moving towards becoming a well-respected provider of digital health solutions in the country, the WAH-NGO was finally recognized by USAID LuzonHealth as Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) provider. LuzonHealth awarded the WAH-NGO a contract to train, manage, and supervise the deepening and scale-up of the wah digital platform in the province of Pangasinan.
And so, a training for all partner clinics in Pangasinan as organized in Baguio City from 26-30 September 2016 where participants learned how to digitally record patient and health information on maternal and child care and family planning. Participants were also taught how to do proper and regular Data Quality and Data Reliability Checking.
WAH is set to follow through the training with hand-holding and monitoring activities in Pangasinan until January 2017 as part of the approved activity design for the LTAP. Meanwhile,
as part of its technical assistance to the wah partnership, USAID through LuzonHealth also provided funds for the organization to revisit its 2014 business plan and incorporate in it new information and perspective from the #wahteam and local partners (see wah team plans ahead).
Along this line, the #wahteam has been holding cluster meetings all over the country including those in Baguio, Pangasinan, and Ilocos Sur as a form of the consultative meeting on the new strategies the #wahcommunity will be pursuing to sustain growth and expansion.
